Can you afford a dental implant?
Often we think about whether we can afford certain purchases, including dental treatments. Affordability is of paramount importance in today’s world, yet getting good value from your investment is an important part of your affordability decision. Value is about return on investment and satisfaction with your investment. Value justifies that little extra investment in order to get that important little extra in return.
So when does that little extra make a difference? Is any implant just as good as any other? Or does it matter that the person placing it has really spent time considering how the gum will look around the implant afterwards? And will those little extras be included or will your dentist want to charge you more? Not at VIDA: we include minor bone grafting in our implant fee because we aren’t prepared to compromise on beautiful results. And yes, we do believe that the little (or in our case, a lot of) extra thought, planning, and aesthetic consideration does give that little (or a lot) extra in return.
Is a dental implant great value or not?
So why do dental implants seem like such great value to some people but not others? When is it really necessary to spend that little more on an implant instead of having a removable denture or fixed bridge tooth ?How can any dental treatment, or dental implant, really help you feel better, happier, or more confident ? And what amount of money is “worth it” when it means a more relaxed smile? Or should we put that investment aside for something else?
The truth is, each case, each person, and each tooth, is different and requires a very bespoke solution. Great dentistry is not a production line. Implants are not right for every situation. Your VIDA dentist will make sure you have all the relevant information at your finger tips, when making those important investment decisions. Taking out finance is not always the answer to situations when you decide an investment needs to be made, but it can mean that you get the treatment when you need it, rather than living with a situation you’re unhappy with. At VIDA we offer finance over 10, 13 and 3 year terms. This mainly takes the worry about affordability away, because most people find a level of monthly payment they can afford when using finance, but it doesn’t answer the question of whether an implant is right for you.
To answer that we need to ask, will it give you great value? And will you be happy you did it? Can we do it in your particular situation?

Nobody can tell you the value of your smile, your wellbeing, your confidence.
