OUR DENTAL TREATMENTS
At VIDA Dentistry, we understand that visiting the dentist can be an overwhelming experience for many people. Our dedicated team provides tailored sedation services to help you receive the dental care you need in comfort, confidence, and complete safety.
Whether you are anxious about treatment, have had a previous negative experience, struggle with strong gag reflexes, or require complex dental work, we are here to support you.
We proudly welcome self-referring patients and referrals from other dental practices.
We offer tailored sedation options for both adults and children, delivered by highly trained clinical professionals:
Intravenous (IV) Conscious Sedation for Adults (16+)
Led by Dr James Pugh, our IV sedation service allows adult patients to feel deeply relaxed and calm throughout their dental treatment. You remain conscious but comfortable, with little or no memory of the procedure afterwards.
This is ideal for:
Paediatric Inhalation Sedation (Happy Gas)
Our gentle and reassuring paediatric inhalation sedation service is provided by Dental Therapist Nida Malik, who has extensive experience helping children feel safe and at ease.
Inhalation sedation:
This service helps children receive important care calmly and positively – building lifelong confidence in dental visits.
Sedation dentistry can transform the dental experience. Benefits include:
Your safety is our priority. All sedation is carefully planned, monitored, and delivered according to current clinical guidelines.

Adult sedation from £360
Paediatric inhalation sedation £195
No. The whole concept of sedation is that it is there to alleviate anxiety. The effect of having sedation to help with more anxiety-inducing procedures often results in less dental anxiety in general. Many patients find that getting the more complex treatment completed under sedation spares them the anguish of pre-treatment nerves and they reach the road to health far more quickly and happily. At VIDA we will always get as much done in a single episode of sedation as possible, often completing treatment more quickly than if you were not sedated because the dentist is able to work more effectively. Sedation is not addictive and you should not worry that you are on a slippery slope.
